August is upon us and there’s a vibe of relaxation and adventure in the air. With the Calgary Stampede behind us, this month is all about family, fun and soaking in the sunshine before we feel the chill that will inevitably follow.

What are your plans for the rest of the summer? Rhythms of 17th: From July 14-August 24th, Western Canada High School along with Alberta Ballet, Calgary Opera, and Arts Commons present an amazing music and dance festival. Calgary Farmer’s Market, Greenwich Pop Up: Get a sneak peek at the new CFM location in the Northwest community of Greenwich. Next to their new building on August 7th and September 11th, they are hosting their current and new vendors in a street fair-style event. Also featuring local music, food trucks and community groups showcasing the neighbourhood businesses. More information here:
